Shah Rukh Khan On Reading Mahabharat To AbRam, Cooking And The Jab Harry Met Sejal Controversy
The superstar made many revelations while speaking to the media at the annual Eid gathering. Shah Rukh Khan opened up about cooking for his children, reading the Mahabharat and Quran to AbRam and Jab Harry Met Sejal
Shah Rukh Khan was at his candid best as he interacted with the media on the occasion of Eid. The superstar opened up about the controversy surrounding the use of the word ‘intercourse’ in his film Jab Harry Met Sejal, his family, his autobiography and a lot more.
When asked about the censor’s objection to Jab Harry Met Sejal’s teasers, Shah Rukh said: “This is just the trailer, picture abhi baaki hai. I hope when they watch the film, they will get it. Me, Anushka, Imtiaz and everybody else associated with the film, we have never had to resort to disrespectful things in order to make our films work. Maybe, something was taken out of context and that is why they found it objectionable. The film will go to the censors now, when they see the whole film, they will understand and hopefully everything will be OK.”
The superstar revealed that he will try to cook for his family this Eid and reads both the Mahabharat and Quran to his young son AbRam, who was by his side when he greeted fans earlier at Mannat.
Shah Rukh Khan revealed that there will be many more revelations like this in his autobiography. “Kitaab khatam hi nahi ho rahi. The autobiography was going to end with my son Aryan's birth. Then it was supposed to end with Suhana’s birth. However now, it will incorporate AbRam's birth, and that will be the closing chapter of the project,” revealed the superstar.
